We bought a small pool at Rural King for my son's birthday. You probably would have set it up better and leveled the ground better, and thought it out better. But on a hot summer day, a pool filled with water enough to go underwater is a very fun thing. The jury is still out since it is new to us. But the Intex Easy Set Pool has been fun for us so far, and it is a very cheap alterative to 1. buying a real pool for $5000. 2. buying a home on the beach for $500,000.

Neighborhood kids knock on your door more often when you have a pool. Just be prepared for that.
